Say what you will, there's little more gutturally appealing than a muscular GT coupe. The Audi RS 5 with its box flare fenders and high-revving V8 qualifies as such a car in spades, and that's only compounded when tastefully upgraded like this Suzuka Grey matte specimen built by TAG Motorsports.

Of course, the most noticed upgrade for virtually any build must be a set of wheels. The wrong choice can ruin the look, while the right choice can take it over the top. In this case, over-the-top status definitely comes from a set of 21-inch HRE P101 wheels in dark brushed clear finish. Even better, they're wrapped in 295 25 21 Michelin Pilot Supersport rubber.

While an incredible set of wheels are a good start, such an upgrade would look a bit aesthetically awkward without the right ride height. For that, TAG enlisted suspension specialists KW and their height adjustable springs for Audi's RS coupe. SPC adjustable control arms round out the handling improvements.

One of the best aspects of the 4.2-liter high-revving V8. TAG chose a simple way to augment the already sonorous qualities and augmenting that with an AWE Tuning track exhaust system.

Finishing touches for the car follow an OEM+ theme. These included European headlights sans that pesky NHTSA spec amber reflector and an OEM 2014 Start/Stop button with red trimmed ring.

Finally came the decision to protect the car's Audi exclusive Suzuka Grey Matte paint. For this, TAG Motorsports turned to XPEL and their Stealth Satin Clear Bra over the complete vehicle.
