Whether we'd like to admit it or not, we all want to own a race car at some point in our lives.  Undoubtedly conditioned by years of motorsport viewing and countless hours spent on Forza, Gran Turismo and the like, we continually hunt for these seemingly unattainable creations, and every so often, we find one we'd actually like to own.  Such is the case with today's find, the Audi TT RS Racer campaigned by Rotek Racing in the VLN, and 034 Motorsport briefly here in the US.
Winning the 25 Hours of Thunderhill outright against GT3 and Prototype-spec cars, as well as a class victory at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring qualifying race, this TT RS is an incredibly well sorted and successful chassis.  Recent upgrades to the vehicle include the latest Alcon GT Endurance brake calipers, brand new 4-way dampers from JRZ, and a freshly rebuilt engine (0km on rebuild) and transmission (less than 1000km ago).

The car is currently available for sale on Race Cars Direct for 100,000 EUR + VAT, and for an additional 35,000 EUR, it can be had with a spare engine, brakes, dampers and more.  Fortunately for those interested, the seller does mention that it won't be available after the Pikes Peak Hillclimb in June, meaning that there's some time to save up, and shipping from Colorado should be quite reasonable.
