Some may not have noticed given the placement for first-time companies displaying at SEMA, but Audi of America did have a small presence at this year's event. In particular, the stand was managed by the Audi Academy's Veterans to Technicians program and featured a whole range from the Audi collection and Audi Genuine Accessories.

SEMA is a bit of an oddball show when it comes to manufacturer participation, so we'll pardon you if you missed the placement. The Audi stand was in a temporary show hall located just south of the sprawling Las Vegas Convention Center's own South Hall. Such is the way of the SEMA organization and their seniority rules when it comes to placement.

Automotive highlights of the stand included two new models that were lightly accessorized. One was an eye-catching Ara Blue SQ5 built very closely to visual spec of the SQ5 TDI plus revealed at the Frankfurt IAA in September. This SQ5 featured an Audi Genuine Accessories roof rack complete with Audi Sport road bike from the German wing of the Audi collection and a new more cruiser style bike also on offer from the American wing of the Audi collection.

Another car on display was a Viper Green Audi S3 sedan. One of the five limited Viper Green color storm S3 sedans, this car featured several upgrades including European market wheels painted black, black optics conversion and Audi Genuine Accessories' own carbon fiber mirror caps and rear decklid spoiler.

The S3 also featured an Audi Genuine Accessories roof rack complete with ski attachments. Of course, those ski attachments also clenched a pair of super trick carbon fiber skis designed by the Audi Design Team and available via the Audi collection.
