Audi is recalling 127,000 cars after German authorities allegedly discovered a new emissions cheat device.

The recall covers A4, A5, A6, A7, Q5, SQ5, and Q7 models, with most of the affected cars registered in Germany. All the vehicles are powered by the 3.0L V6 diesel engine, and the cars in this new recall were already included in a recall of 850,000 Audis last year.

The report comes from German newspaper Bild Am Sontag, who said that the German Federal Motor Transport Agency found the devices on new V6 TDI engines.

Audi has until February 2nd to find a solution for the cars that will likely require completely revised engine control software to be tested and submitted to the regulator for approval.
