Despite adverse weather conditions with rain pouring down some of the time some 25,000 spectators flocked to the Donauring event in Ingolstadt on Saturday that was totally marked by Audi’s centennial this time. All of the most important race and rally vehicles from Audi’s motorsport history – from the 1934 Auto Union Type A all the way to the current Audi R15 TDI Le Mans sports car – were in action on the historic race track. Among the major attractions was two-time World Rally Champion Walter Röhrl with his Audi Sport quattro S1. Audi "factory” drivers Dindo Capello, Allan McNish, Emanuele Pirro and Marco were part of the program as well.
