• Hollywood star to visit DTM
• Football tournament with Audi DTM drivers
• Champions Party with Helmut Zerlett and Band

The Norisring race is not only the sporting highlight of the DTM season. The street circuit close to the Dutzendteich attracts numerous celebrities from sport, politics and showbiz every year to Nuremberg. Star guest at Audi this coming weekend is actor Ralf Möller (Gladiator).

The German Hollywood star, living in Los Angeles, California since 1992, is an enthusiastic Audi driver and a big DTM fan. He visited the DTM finale at Hockenheim two years ago. For the first time he will now keep his fingers crossed for Timo Scheider, Mattias Ekström & Co at the Audi “home race” around the Norisring.

Also expected to attend are Möller’s fellow actor Francis Fulton Smith, TV moderator Gitta Saxx, fashion designer Sonja Kiefer, Comedian Django Asül, ski jumper Martin Schmitt and many more celebrity guests.

Several of them will also be seen in action on Saturday evening during the “Audi Heroes Cup”: The ten Audi DTM drivers and their teams, in part with celebrity reinforcements, will play in a “human table top football” tournament held on the Zeppelinwiese from 8 p.m. local time. Referee is Head of Audi Motorsport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich.

The winner of this rather unusual football tournament will be celebrated afterwards at the Champions Party in the Audi Team & Media Hospitality on the Dutzendteich, during which Helmut Zerlett and band will ‘pump up the volume’.

Spectators in Nuremberg are kept busy with three days of on-track action from Friday to Sunday. Audi factory driver Timo Scheider comes as championship leader to the Norisring. The race starts on Sunday at 2:03 p.m. local time and is broadcast live on “Das Erste” by German television ARD.
