AWE Tuning Announces B7 GT Turbo Kit

Willow Grove, PA. (June 2nd, 2009) - A.W.E. Tuning proudly announces the release of its 2005.5-08 Audi A4 2.0T GT Turbo Kit producing 377 hp on 93 octane pump fuel.

The ultimate performance upgrade for the 2005.5-08 Audi A4 2.0T is now available. Utilizing the highest quality materials available today and knowledge learned from 18 years in the aftermarket performance industry, A.W.E. Tuning's 2.0T GT Turbo kit will transform the small two liter heart of the A4.

A.W.E. Tuning's world class Engineering Department invested two years of research and development to ensure this turbo kit would be the most complete package on the market.

For the centerpiece of its kit, A.W.E. decided to use Garrett's GT28-71R turbocharger for its combination of quick spool and high horsepower potential. The turbine housing material used on standard issue GT28-71R turbos is not able to withstand the high exhaust temperatures generated by the 2.0T. A.W.E. Tuning cast exhaust manifold
Just like with the turbine housing, there is a concern regarding elevated exhaust temperatures with the exhaust manifold. Designed and developed in-house, A.W.E. Tuning's exhaust manifold is cast from a state of the art high temperature material known as CF8C-Plus. This alloy is similar to what Audi uses for its late model high performance turbocharged exhaust manifolds.

Furthermore, A.W.E. Tuning's manifold is port matched for maximum exhaust flow and power.



Cat Section
A.W.E. Tuning continues to innovate by being the only company in the industry to release a B7 A4 2.0T GT Turbo Kit with a high flow catalytic converter. The 200 cell HJS catalyst allows A.W.E. Tuning's kit remain environmentally friendly, while sacrificing very little horsepower to a catless testpipe.

Fueling Kit
The OE fuel system is not up to the task of providing the necessary fuel for this power level. A.W.E. Tuning engineered a Patent Pending High Pressure Fuel Pump upgrade kit that can supply more than enough fuel for the desired horsepower goals.

Using their sophisticated ASNU Injector Test Stand, A.W.E. also developed its proprietary high flow fuel injectors with necessary fuel volume and the correct spray pattern.

G.I.A.C. Software Calibration
Together with G.I.A.C., a development partner for many years and the leading ECU tuner for all late-model VW/Audi vehicles, A.W.E. Tuning created a flawless software calibration that allows switching between programs on the fly.
