On the weekend of 3-4th June, VW-Audi Club Norwegen held it's annual show and track event at Norwegian Traffic Center, about 2 hours north of Oslo. Several hundred club members headed for the track from all over Norway, with high hopes of yet another unforgettable weekend.
The weather was a bit on the chilly side, but with only a couple of scattered showers, both the track, cars and people kept dry. The track driving, which was open both Saturday and Sunday, set a new record this year, with 140 cars entering for the pure joy and excitement it is to drive one's own car at a real race track. A few incidents happened, but everything went fine without any major problems or damaged cars.
The show, which was held on Sunday, June 4th, brought out some of the best VWs and Audis in Norway. With roughly 250 cars entering, there were plenty of things to help keep eyes peeled and mouths watering. Cars exhibited ranged from a near mint 1970 Audi 100 to brand new cars including the Golf 5 GTI and Audi A6, and everyting imaginable made by VAG in between.
